Graham A. Harris (Winterstoke 1965-69)
It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Graham A. Harris, an Old Millhillian who made his life and career in Hong Kong.
Graham was a proud member of the Mill Hill community, and his years at the School helped shape the values and friendships he carried throughout his life. He was remembered by contemporaries for his thoughtful nature, intellectual curiosity, and quiet determination.
After leaving Mill Hill, Graham pursued a career in law, ultimately qualifying as a barrister and being called to the Hong Kong Bar. This achievement marked a significant milestone and reflected his commitment to his profession. He went on to build a respected legal career in Hong Kong, where he was known for his professionalism, integrity, and measured judgement. In 2003 Graham set up Liberty Chambers and earlier this year the Hong Kong Bar Association conferred upon him Lifetime Membership, only the ninth person to ever receive it.
Despite the distance, he remained a loyal and engaged Old Millhillian, taking a keen interest in the School and its wider network.
He will be remembered with great fondness and respect by all who knew him as a dedicated lawyer, a valued colleague, and a steadfast friend.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
