Sports Clubs Summary – October 2026
The exciting news within OMs Sports is the ambitious launch of a new OM’s Men’s Hockey side, playing their inaugural season in Men’s Division 6 North. If you still have a hockey stick, or wish to hold one in the coming months, please do get involved. The team trains and plays home matches on MHS’s artificial pitch.
This new Men’s club comes off the continuing success of the Ladies Hockey Club, which had another enjoyable and successful last season, finishing 5th in their league. Again, please get involved if you are looking to raise your pulse and make new friends at the weekly training.
Totteridge Millhillians Cricket Club had a superb season, winning the Hertfordshire Premier Cricket League Premiership, and congratulations to all involved: a fantastic achievement.
The Men’s football team also had a good steady last season, finishing 4th in their league and also remain on the lookout for new players. They continue to play their home games at the Maccabi Sports Ground.
The rugby club has been summer training in preparation for the upcoming season. Lots of recent leavers and younger players have appeared, and if there are any grizzly stalwarts who would still like to throw themselves into a morass of humanity, please do. Home games will again be played at MHS this season.
All the above clubs rely on new players and supporters to create the success and community that they enjoy. Please consider getting involved if you can.
