Alastair Riley (Ridgeway 1965-70)
We are very sad to inform you that OM Al Riley sadly passed away peacefully on 12th September 2020 aged just 68. He started at Mill Hill in September 1965 where he enjoyed playing lots of sports. Al was in the junior colts' cricket team in 1966 and he represented the school in rugby, hockey, cricket, athletics and cross-country running teams.
After Al left school in July 1970, he continued playing sport and joined the Old Millhillians rugby and cricket clubs. There was never a dull moment in Al's company especially at the home of the OMRFC Headstone Lane or on rugby tours to both Torquay and France.
Al was certainly one of the most unforgettable Old Millhillian characters and will be sadly missed.
Our thoughts are with his family.
