Dear Old Millhillian,

OMRFC first played Wasps RFC in 1933 and the last match was in March 1980. Not many people know that!

The world of rugby has moved in many directions over the past 40+ years but for this match it has turned full circle. OMRFC is due to play Wasps again, this time in the Herts/Middlesex League.

This is a fitting occasion to honour the history of this great fixture and to pay tribute to Andy Mortimer who played for Wasps and OMRFC during his illustrious rugby career. Andy’s contribution to OM rugby is legendary and this fixture will be dedicated to his legacy.

We are organising a special pre-match lunch at Headstone Lane and welcome all OMs to attend. If you cannot make lunch, please do your best to support the team at the match itself.

Bar opens at noon, lunch at 1pm, kick-off 3pm.
